When reality is no longer enough, 3D takes over
We created Sunsplash because even the invisible deserves to be seen.
A process takes place inside a furnace. A component is being manufactured beneath the surface. A product exists only as a CAD file for now. These are the images we create—the ones that photography cannot capture. Two complementary journeys brought together under a single artistic vision and the same technical rigor.

Le « Sun », it's the light: the light that shapes, balances, and makes the final result shine. The « Splash », that’s the spark: the movement that brings the right image to life at just the right moment. Two roles, a single pipeline—with no intermediary between intention and execution
Léna Milla

Léna sculpts light. Specializing in rigging, lighting, and compositing, she combines technical precision with a cinematic eye. Her time at Solid Anim has refined his mastery of rendering and colorimetry.

From a chance encounter to an industrial studio.
A friendship that began in an animation class, two studio sessions, and then the decision to create a space of our own—where technique meets the artistry of cinema.

Meeting at ESMA Montpellier
Karina and Léna met while studying to become 3D animation and special effects experts (Bac+5). It marked the beginning of a friendship and a shared vision of the visual arts.

Two complementary paths
Karina is joining The Beastmakers as a rigger and character animator. Léna is joining Solid Anim as a lighting and compositing artist. Together, these two specialties cover the entire pipeline.

The creation of Sunsplash
The studio is opening in September, between Bordeaux and Montpellier. First projects: “Ocean Days” with the Owlshake collective, followed by a technical film for a plastronics manufacturer.
